Plants Are Growing out of My Head

Thoughts, plan(t)s, ideas, schemes, and dreams are sprouting - shooting out of my head, if you will - at a tremendous speed!

I was stressed out for most of the day because I wasn't sure how I was going to meet the deadlines of two art fairs that are both due around now. However, Amy came over and helped me with some things. We also chatted about the art fairs and she helped me see that maybe I don't have to do all of them, just a few. Amy also said that she would come over on Sunday to help me find grants that I could apply to.

This is exciting because I have so many ideas for art projects. Painting animals and flowers are okay but I want to do more paintings that the one shown above. I want to make serious art that depicts the uncertainity of world politics and the environment. And, I want to try to make more work that has a humourour slant, like "I Love Dicks".

So, I'm going to do the employees schedule, update my finances, and answer emails so by tomorrow I can start working on a new painting.
