Pictures of My Life in 2021

As usual, I had another busy year. Despite the pandemic and being in lockdown until March, I never stopped painting or  thinking up new ideas for merchandise. (Occasionally, I did take a break and indulge in my addiction to Shein clothes.)

After the lockdown was over, I painted quick sketches outside the Jimmy James Community & Art Centre, hosted by Jeff Bierk  I did this for six wonderful, eye-opening weeks.

When I was allowed to go back, I started selling my artwork again at the St. Lawrence Market. It was like going home, seeing old friends and other vendors.  Unfortunately, now that Covid cases are over 16,000 I've decided to take a break from the market until things settle down.

I've had both of my Covid shots, and I'm getting my booster on Tuesday. My 63rd birthday party was held in Allan Gardens with a few friends, and only three of my immediate family were over to my place for dinner.  I just want Covid to be over ASAP, so we can get back to normal.

But, the most  amazing, incredible, and wonderful things that happened to me in 2021 was that "Feelings of Invisibility" (a documentary based upon my life  and art) won in two film festivals won for best short!
